Where Did That Video Idea Come From Anyway?
Welcome to MultiVu Creative’s Ideation Workshop
MultiVu Creative is a full service creative production company headquartered in Manhattan. It’s a wholly owned division of PR Newswire, and the combined entity provides its clients with premium communication services. At the heart of MultiVu Creative is its ideation services. We help our clients unearth the stories that make them unique to audiences. And then we figure out how to express those stories visually – separating them from their competitors and helping to establish them as thought leaders within their respective industries.
And that’s where the Creative Brief comes into play. The brief is a document containing a few key questions needed to uncover a story.
Fun Fact: The first creative brief dates all the way back to 1863 and was developed by a member of President Lincoln’s staff. The staffer gave it to Lincoln to help him write one of the most important documents of our time, The Gettysburg Address. So what if Lincoln took one look at the brief and tossed it in the trash and immediately fired the staffer… it’s the fact that it happened at all that’s pretty cool, no?
Back to our story: You’re about to meet your own client. You are going to be competing for the best idea that will help them with their goal – refer to the Creative Brief. Don’t be a Lincoln.
The rest we’ll explain as the night unfolds. Good Luck!
