CDNetworks – CAMPBELL, April 25, 2017 – On March 24th, Hong Kong Wangsu Science & Technology officially acquired 98% of CDNetworks from KDDI, a Japanese telecommunications company. Wangsu Science & Technology is the largest Content Delivery Network (CDN) in China. The company was established in China in 2000 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2009. Wangsu is a global company, which provides CDN, IDC and Cloud services. The company has subsidiaries in the U.S., Hong Kong and other countries, is based in Beijing headquarters, and employs 2,800 people. In 2016, its annual sales reached 4.4 Billion Yuan.
The combined companies will offer a network that is also unmatched in global reach with significant presence on the six major continents.
