Ambetter Health Announces 2027 Marketplace Offerings, Including Enhanced Condition-Specific Coverage Options

Ambetter Health Introduces New Heart Failure Coverage and Expands Chronic Care Solutions in Nine States

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 20, 2026 – Ambetter Health, the Health Insurance Marketplace product of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), today announced its 2027 Marketplace offerings, including new and enhanced condition-specific plans. Ambetter Health currently serves more than 3.5 million members across 27 states and more than 1,700 counties, and will expand into 55 additional counties for 2027.

Designed Around Members' Needs
In 2027, Ambetter Health will introduce and expand a range of condition-specific Ambetter Health Premier plans designed to support better health, enhance the member experience, and help reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs for individuals managing chronic conditions.

  • New Enhanced Congestive Heart Failure Care plans in North Carolina and Ohio. These plans offer eligible members $0 copays for certain heart failure medications, $0 select mental health medications, $0 nicotine replacement therapy, $0 cardiologist visits (up to four per year), plus covered cholesterol labs, EKGs, cardiac education and nutritional counseling visits.
  • Expanding Enhanced Diabetes Care plans in Louisiana, Mississippi and Indiana. These plans, already available in Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma, offer eligible members $0 preferred insulin, $0 select medications used to manage diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and mental health conditions, as well as $0 select diabetic supplies and $0 routine A1C lab services.
  • Enhanced Asthma and COPD Care plans in Georgia. Joining North Carolina, Oklahoma and Kentucky, these plans offer $0 copays for preferred Asthma/COPD medications, including controller and rescue inhalers and mental health medications, $0 pulmonologist visits, $0 allergy testing and $0 pulmonary rehabilitation services.

Coverage that Supports Whole-Person Health
In addition to expanded plan options, Ambetter Health will continue offering a range of programs and benefits designed to help members access care and manage their health more effectively.

  • Virtual 24/7 Care. Members in all markets can reach an Ambetter-designated licensed provider by telehealth for conditions such as flu, fever, ear infections, skin conditions and respiratory infections, without leaving home. 
  • My Health Pays®. Available in participating states, the My Health Pays program lets members earn rewards for completing health activities and challenges, with up to $500 in annual rewards that can be applied to copays, deductibles, and other health related expenses. Amounts and eligibility vary by state.
  • Walgreens Smart Savings. In Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi, Nebraska and Tennessee, members receive 20% off Walgreens brand over the counter health and wellness products. *
  • YMCA membership. In Arizona, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina and Oklahoma, members receive in-person YMCA access and YMCA360 virtual programming at no additional cost.
