Announcing the National Winners of The Art Institutes Passion For Fashion Competition 2013

Two fashion-minded teens put their skills to the test and came out on top as the grand prize winners in The Art Institutes 2013 Passion for Fashion Scholarship Competition. Max Benitez of Dale, TX, was named the winner in the Fashion Design category, and will receive a half tuition scholarship to The Art Institute of Houston. Kathryn Nelson of Rochester, NH, was named the winner in the Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management category, and will receive a half tuition scholarship to The New England Institute of Art in Boston. Both will also travel to New York City on a VIP trip that includes a visit to Seventeen magazine’s offices.
