Junior Achievement USA Launches “Empower the Future” Campaign to Ask Volunteers to Inspire Kids to Succeed
Colorado Springs, CO – Junior Achievement USA® (JA) today announced the launch of its JA Empower the Future PSA campaign. The goal of this campaign is to connect volunteer mentors with young people to inspire and prepare kids to succeed.
Positive role models in the lives of young people are shown to help inspire them to overcome difficult circumstances. Yet today, millions of kids live in situations where they do not have access to mentors who can give them the guidance or insight they need to rise above negative peer pressure, economic uncertainty or simply a lack of direction.
This PSA campaign from JA demonstrates how volunteer mentors can empower young people through programs such as JA. By giving a few hours of their time as a classroom JA volunteer, these individuals can give young people the power to see their futures and realize their potential. JA has the means of matching interested adults with local schools to deliver life-changing experiences to students in communities across the country. JA programs provide students with real-world skills, focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy.
