TIS' THE SEASON TO ENTERTAIN

RENOWNED EXPERT SHARES EASY TRICKS FOR A STRESS-FREE HOLIDAY SEASON

Between cooking, decorating, and the countless seasonal obligations, the holidays can be overwhelming. The good news is there are many ways to make sure that both you and your guests have a great time at your next party. Maureen Petrosky shares her secrets from everything on how to prepare meals, both big and small, to how you can easily keep track of your guest list so you are holiday ready.

  • Serve Festive Food: The perfect meal for holiday entertaining is lasagna and the party size Stouffer's Lasagna with Meat and Sauce is a family favorite. It makes about 12 servings and you'll love not dealing with prep and cleanup! It is made with vine-ripened tomatoes, freshly made pasta, and real mozzarella; so you can feel good about feeding it to your family and guests. To learn more head to Stouffers.
  • Don’t Forget the Drinks: Prepare one signature cocktail in a big batch and always have options- one red and white wine, and one beer. Keep a selection of wines in the house during the holiday season so you’re always ready to entertain. If you’re looking for something different, delicious, affordable try the Sicilian red Villa Pozzi Nero D’avola – it’s fruity, and full bodied And Yellow tail bubbly is another great selection if you’re having a large get together and looking for a crowd pleaser- both selections available for just $10.
  • A Clean Kitchen is Just as Important as an Organized One: It's important to keep your kitchen clean and organized. PURELL® Multi-Surface Disinfectant has a revolutionary alcohol based formula that kills 99.99% of germs; including cold and flu, strep and salmonella but without harsh chemicals and irritating fumes. It's worry-free around kids, pets and food and can be used on everything from cutting boards; to kids' toys. And there's no need to water rinse, giving you the peace of mind to use it just about anywhere. It's available online at Amazon.com, Jet.com, Walmart.com and for more information visit PURELL.
  • Keep Track of Your Guests: Email invitations make it easy. Using Evite lets you easily keep track of guests and send updates and reminders. And now, it's simpler than ever to get those RSVPs in. You can send invitations by text message or email to make sure guests see it right away. Also, in the spirit of giving, make the occasion merrier by adding any nonprofit to your event. Guests can donate directly through your invitation.
