For our new collection, three is the magic number: the Maison that’s been opening up a world of possibilities in sparkling wine since 1959 is popping the cork on a trio of fresh, ready-to-serve Spritzes. The CHANDON Spritz collection spans a choice of flavors and intensities, from refreshingly bitter Orange Peel & Spices at 11.5% to delicious Berries & Hibiscus and zesty Lemon & Verbena, both at 6% ABV. Crafted for every taste with natural flavors, they’re ready when you are: just pour over ice, garnish, and serve.

Our all-female team of creators Ana Paula Bartolucci, Chef de Cave, CHANDON Argentina; Pauline Lhote, Winemaking and Vinegrowing Director, CHANDON California; and celebrated Argentinean mixologist Ines de los Santos, founder of Cochinchina, and Costa 7070 Buenos Aires and Kochi, São Paulo, brought their combined skill, know-how and disruptive mindset to our recipes. Another outstanding trio, they poured more than 65 years of sparkling-wine prowess, and 179 recipe tries over 6 years into every bottle.

Our starting point is always our expertise: we have been crafting exceptional sparkling wine at our CHANDON homes in Argentina, California, Brazil, Australia, China and India for more than six decades. It’s natural for our pioneering winemakers to twist in a fresh new direction – that’s in our DNA.
For the CHANDON Spritz collection, Ana and Pauline – mavericks of taste in the CHANDON tradition of innovation – combined expertise from across our CHANDON world, with the exciting global cocktail scene and our love of natural flavors always foremost in their minds. Then they went further, exploring the mixology universe, finding aromatic inspiration to complement their craft and add new, diverse flavor options. They learned from the best mixologists and experimented with different ingredients. Fresh fruits, herbs, spices, bitters, and even unexpected additions like artichokes took their creativity to the next level. Picking from this inspiring palette, they eventually settled on the unique botanical blends that brought our delicious Spritz collection to life.
Whether you’re drawn to the crisp botanicals of our Orange Peel & Spices Spritz, the luscious fruitiness of our Red Berries & Hibiscus, or the unique zestiness of our Lemon & Verbena, all three Spritzes are delightfully refreshing, offering an option for every taste.
Our aromatic macerates of natural flavors are obtained through slow extraction from raw and dried ingredients including cardamom, gentian, and vanilla. Orange has fresh and dried organic orange peels from Tucumán, northern Argentina, and a secret blend of herbs and spices. Berries has raspberries and blackcurrants grown in Patagonia, plus hibiscus, rosemary and a subtle kick of white pepper. Lemon has lemon zest from organic Tucumán lemons, verbena from the highlands of Catamarca, chili, white pepper, ginger and artichoke.
For this new collection, we wanted to offer our consumers more options – more flavors and more choice of intensity. The two new CHANDON Spritzes in the collection, Berries and Lemon, each at 6% ABV (alcohol by volume), are lower in alcohol than the Orange Spritz. For our two new recipes, we've introduced Muscat grapes, which are naturally low in sugar, and a hybrid fermentation process. There's no need to use de-alcoholization in our process: we simply seal our tanks – where the bubbles are made – and stop fermentation when the alcohol hits 6%. CHANDON Spritz Orange, whose sparkling-wine base is crafted using our long-standing tank fermentation method, comes in at 11.5%.
CHANDON SPRITZ ORANGE PEEL & SPICES, L’ORIGINAL
Foundational to its character is the sparkling wine base, composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Sémillon grapes, sourced directly from our vineyards and our trusted grower partners in the renowned region of Mendoza, Argentina.
Our sparkling wine base is then blended with our signature macerates, drawing out the natural bitter flavors of organic oranges, cultivated in Tucumán, northwestern Argentina, on a dedicated family-owned and run farm. The essential bittersweet Spritz, apt in aperitivo hour, at vibrant social gatherings, weekend brunches and spontaneous celebrations pairing perfectly with carpaccios, sushis, sashimis and spicy recipes. 11.5% ABV.
CHANDON SPRITZ LEMON & VERBENA, THE ZESTY ONE
At the heart of our vibrant Spritz is a thoughtfully crafted base, utilizing naturally low-sugar Muscat grapes, picked early by our partner growers.
This innovative approach coupled with arrested fermentation in tanks means no need for de-alcoholization, ensuring a full-bodied uncompromised taste. The bright burst comes from our macerates, brimming of natural flavor from zesty organic lemons grown in Tucumán, and the zingy aromatic natural flavors of verbena, from the highlands of Catamarca, both from northwestern Argentina. Refreshing and invigorating, perfect for summer lunches, poolside sips, sundrenched afternoons, or pre-dinner paired with croquetas, croque-monsieur or banh-mis. 6% ABV
CHANDON SPRITZ BERRIES & HIBISCUS, THE LUSCIOUS ONE
Crafted like its Zesty counterpart, this luscious Spritz starts with our thoughtfully produced sparkling base, featuring naturally low-sugar Muscat grapes, early-picked by our dedicated growers. Our innovative method, utilizing arrested fermentation in tanks, means no de-alcoholization is ever needed, guaranteeing a full-bodied, uncompromised taste.
This vibrant base then meets our signature macerates, bursting with the aromatic, natural flavor of sun-ripened raspberries and blackcurrants, sourced from Río Negro, Patagonia. A delicate touch of hibiscus, hand-harvested in Corrientes’ sub-tropical warmth, northern Argentina, adds a sharp acidity, earthy aromas and a subtle, bracing rhubarb character lift to the berry symphony. Simply irresistible and wonderfully aromatic, it’s the perfect pour for summer parties, casual get-togethers, or as a delightful dessert companion. 6% ABV.

We’ve been working hard on our recipes. But enjoying the fruits of our labors couldn’t be easier. No fuss, no measures; it’s all in the mix. Just pour over ice, garnish, and enjoy. We like to serve CHANDON Spritz Orange with a dried orange slice and rosemary; Berries, with mint and raspberry; and Lemon with a fresh lemon slice and rosemary. Fresh takes welcome.

In 1959, Robert-Jean de Vogüé, already a major mover and shaker in Champagne, had the revolutionary idea of taking his ancestral know-how to unexpected lands around the globe. He first broke ground in Mendoza, Argentina. In 1973, CHANDON California was born. Brazil followed that same year, Australia in 1986, China in 2013 and India in 2014.
