Vayama Go Somewhere Tour Brings Travelers One Step Closer to International Dream Trip
Online Travel Agency Crisscrosses the U.S, Listening to People Share Where in the World They Dream of Traveling
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Vayama (www.vayama.com), a leading online travel agency uniquely focused on international travel, is crossing the United States as part of the Vayama Go Somewhere Tour. This 12-market U.S. campaign is designed to inspire people to think about where in the world they’d like to travel and help them get one step closer to making that dream a reality. The centerpiece of the Go Somewhere Tour is an 18-foot custom-designed truck that serves as a hub for global discovery and travel inspiration at each event along the way. The next stop on the Go Somewhere Tour is Houston, TX on May 9.
At each event, the Go Somewhere Tour experience sparks conversation with people about where they’d like to travel. At the Grand Prix of Long Beach, Paris emerged as a favorite destination. In San Diego, one attendee shared plans of visiting Germany for Oktoberfest. In Phoenix, Vayama attended the Ultimate Women’s Expo and women shared their hopes to someday visit destinations including New Zealand, Japan and Peru!
“It’s amazing to be able to directly connect with people across the country and hear what inspires them about international travel,” said Joan Ioannou, Brand Marketing Director for Vayama.com. “Whether it’s planning an annual trip to visit family, or mapping out a once-in-a-lifetime global journey, Vayama is passionate about showing people that international travel is accessible.”
Over the course of the tour, people who visit the Go Somewhere Tour truck can enter the Go Somewhere Sweepstakes. The Grand Prize winner will receive an international trip for two on Emirates Airline, plus U.S. $2,000 spending money. 12 lucky First Prize winners (1 winner in each market) will receive a U.S. $1,500 travel voucher, redeemable on Vayama.com.
The Go Somewhere Tour is the next step in Vayama’s brand evolution. In November 2012, the five-year-old online travel agency re-launched, introducing a logo redesign and the beta version of a new, highly visual website. Vayama.com inspires people to dream about international travel and greatly improves how travelers search and book international flights.
