A Brand New English Site for Viewers Worldwide

Tokyo, Japan, Aug 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. launched a newly designed English corporate website that was collaborated with an Amsterdam-based creative agency to reflect our philosophy: “Otsuka-people creating new products for better health worldwide”. With additional new content designed creatively, the new website adopts an innovative, personal design to attract people from around the world.

This is a great chance for inquisitive internet users everywhere to discover who we are. At Otsuka Pharmaceutical, we are committed to a holistic approach to health and well-being of people and are striving to create innovative, thoroughly-original products based on our corporate philosophy. Otsuka Pharmaceutical and affiliated companies have products in more than 80 countries and nearly 28,100 employees, of which around 70% are based outside of Japan1 (about 20,000 employees), and consolidated revenues of about USD 12 billion2 (in FY2012).

Otsuka’s business for better health is driven on two wheels: pharmaceuticals and neutraceuticals3. The creator of ABILIFY®, the world’s first antipsychotic drug with a dopamine D2 receptor partial agonist mechanism is prescribed for schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depression in the US. The new Otsuka Pharmaceutical website, like the company overall, aims to contribute to the well-being of people everywhere.
