Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Shines a Light on Virtual Fundraising

On October 28th, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum held a virtual fundraiser, BIG NIGHT (At the Museum), and leveraged a Multichannel News Release (MNR) and Digital Broadcast Distribution (DBD), inviting their fans and audiences to experience top country artists playing historic instruments and encouraging them to donate.
2020 has most certainly challenged creativity and business continuity like no other, yet the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a perfect example of how choosing the right combination of strategic solutions will allow you to execute your vision without compromising your goals. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was in a unique position to showcase incredible artists, their own impressive collection of memorabilia, and still engage with their audience virtually with the purpose of fundraising.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum utilized Digital Broadcast Distribution (DBD) in this case to focus in on target demographics and those most receptive to their fundraising efforts. Our broadcast veterans here at MultiVu maximized our resources and networks to ensure the right audiences were exposed to the messaging and the virtual experience still delivered impactful results.
They also used a Multichannel News Release (MNR) to provide an online platform with further information, links to their own assets, and important event updates. By including a shareable link, it ensured viewers had access to all the necessary information and were further inclined to engage with and support the initiative. Our teams were able to include assets from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and combine them with their own expertise for maximum engagement.
These solutions are versatile and flexible, which is why they were so effective in this instance. Fundraising can be challenging during a normal year, much less the constraints of a virtual platform. This is just one great example of ingenuity in the face of challenges and a success story!
