Four Innovative Solutions to Get Your Team (Virtually) CES READY!
We are CES READY! and excited to share that Cision PR Newswire is the official news distribution partner of CES 2021. Since CES 2021 is “all digital,” we’ve had a number of organizations ask us how to connect with their media “friendlies” and drive earned media coverage this year. You can absolutely still launch your innovative solutions/products for CES 2021 and make available all the content needed to fully cover your story – with just a few tweaks to have it all-digital-ready!
Here are some of the innovative virtual strategies that are coming through the pipeline for CES 2021. We’re hopeful that sharing some of these ideas may help your team to adapt your own strategy or plan for upcoming tradeshows:
1-on-1 Video Interviews: While a series of in-person interviews at your booth is off the table, what we can do is showcase your novel product(s)/service(s) via a series of exclusive 1-on-1 video interviews with media. More than just Skype or Zoom, we’ll leverage our video production expertise to edit every interview and provide each media outlet with a personalized video to drive robust and immediate coverage leading up to or during CES 2021. One-To-Many Exclusive Media Event: If you are looking to host an exclusive virtual media event (one-to-many), we can stream a LIVE video event to a select audience of media contacts and host a traditional Q&A session following. Those not able to attend or who would like to watch the event could have access to an on-demand video replay, based on your preference for availability post-event. This provides the opportunity to feature much of the same content you’d present at your booth – all from a safe distance.
National Broadcast Coverage: While your media “friendlies” might be a top priority, you may also want to get your message to a larger regional – or even national – audience. Our team regularly produces 200+ broadcast (TV/radio) media tours annually. Since the start of COVID, we’ve been doing these with remote production and virtual interviews. Securing 20+ media interviews with regional TV and radio stations and connecting with 10-20M consumer impressions as a result is a great way to drive national media coverage before, after, or during CES 2021.
Co-Op Media Tour for CES: Share the spotlight – and the budget – with a small group of non-competing brands via a co-op media tour. This year, we have a special “New Year’s Tech Trends” tour featuring CES exhibitors. We’ve hired Todd Townsend to share your key messages, and this will take place 1/11 or 1/12. We need several weeks to pitch this tour to the media for interviews, so don’t delay. The deadline for signing on to this tour is Friday, Dec. 18.
